Founded in 2004, BookaCook is a private catering service run by Simon, an enthusiastic young chef with some thirteen years experience in the hospitality industry.

The idea……

BookaCook aims to provide high quality private catering at very affordable prices. Whether your requirement is  a lunchtime buffet, afternoon barbecue/tea part or evening dinner party, Simon will discuss a personal menu with you, making the best use of the fantastic supply of local produce on offer by reputable suppliers.

The main intention is to be a one-stop catering service, taking the hassle and effort out of entertaining at home. Simon will arrange the purchasing and preparation of food, and either deliver to your door or cook for you at home, then serve and (all-importantly) clear and wash the dishes afterwards while you sit back and relax with your guests.

Help has been granted by The Prince's Trust to enable Simon to start this new project.

A recent event saw Simon provide the catering for an evening dinner party for acclaimed food writer Lady Caroline Conran at Bettiscombe Manor. The evening was a huge success and Lady Conran will continue to support Simon in his new venture with ideas and pointers from her extensive culinary knowledge.
